| Quality
management systems are established in every
successful business in some shape or form and
certification demonstrates the management commitment
to maintaining “best practice”. |
|
| Quality
management systems can be simply considered in two
sections; those aspects necessary to perform a
chosen business activity (process) and those aspects
needed to measure and control those processes
(system). Process activities are normally very well
understood and usually only the system elements need
attention. |
|
| To
successfully demonstrate a quality management system
a business must define its quality objectives
(minimise re-work, complaints and so on) and have
developed routines that ensure – and are proven to
ensure – that those aims are met. Regular review is
essential. |
