You are HERE > Audit Process

All audits are managed in accordance with the latest certification body standard Draft IEC/ISO 17021. This ensures that our audits are exhaustively, impartially and uniformly conducted to benefit our clients and their customers.
Prior to commencement, our clients are expected to have developed and operated their management system (be it quality or environmental) and be prepared to demonstrate the system to our auditor. Usually, we will make an off-site appraisal of the documents available prior to our visit to ensure that a recognisable system is in place. A brief and factual critique is given to our client to describe any weaknesses.
On the day of audit we examine available documentary evidence of system implementation (correct forms completed and filed etc) and walk-through the business processes described.
We stress that the audit is always friendly and easy-going, after all, our purpose is to ensure that you receive a fair, beneficial but impartial audit with appropriate certification. Our audit is a necessary step to ensure that before we can issue a certificate, our client is operating a compliant and certifiable system.
Audits usually take a full day during which our findings are discussed and action points agreed. Confirmation of certification award or continuation follows within one week.
